A Distinct Identity
The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery (TUGS) represents all of the Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery globally. We represent all professionals connected with any Upper Gastrointestinal surgery (including Bariatric/Metabolic Surgery, Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Surgery, Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery, Benign Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, Anti-Reflux Surgery etc.) irrespective of their profession (doctors, nurses, dietitians, researchers etc) and grade (students, trainees, certified professionals, consultants, professors etc.)
TUGS Lounge is our informal, academic forum where we discuss all issues related to Upper GI Surgery.
Most of the TUGS panelists and speakers are TUGS members themselves. So please join us.

TUGS Academic Group (TAG) aims to support and develop academic and research projects in the field of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. We are particularly interested in studies that involve a range of professionals, consider patients' views, and have global reach.

TUGS ASIA is a section of the TUGS dedicated to all the surgeons working in ASIA. The aim of this group is to promote partnerships and team work between Asian doctors as well as facillitate better metting times for them.
