THE MOST ENTHUSIASTIC RESEARCH GROUP
TUGS Academic Group (TAG) aims to support and develop academic and research projects in the field of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery.
We have a number of ongoing projects under the TAG umbrella. If you have an idea that you would like our help or support with, please reach out to us through the contact form
We are particularly interested in studies that involve a range of professionals, consider patients' views, and have global reach.
TUGS is launching the first international academic mentorship scheme (TAMES) for its members. If you are struggling to start your journey in the academic surgery world and need support from an experienced academic mentor to get your first-author publication, apply to TAMES, wherever you are in the world.
Applications are open now for both Mentors and Mentees.
Please note that the TAMES project is for members only. It will be necessary to join TUGS to stay informed and participate in the program.
